Create a New Apple ID

While many apps are made available through the Self Service app on your ACC iPad, you may wish to install additional apps on the device. In order to do this, you must be logged into the iPad using your Apple ID. If you do not have an Apple ID, you can follow the instructions below to create a free one.

Step 1: Tap the App Store icon to open it.

Step 2: Type in “iTunes Store” its window pops up. On some iPads you must click bottom menu right side “Purchases” for the Create new Apple ID window to pop up. On others you must click on the profile icon upper right for new Apple ID window to pop up.

Step 3: Tap “Create new Apple ID”.

Step 4: Enter in your ACC email.

Step 5: Create a new Password with letters, numbers, and one capital letter.

Step 6: Agree to conditions, choose “next” upper right corner.

Step 7: Fill out contact info with your work address.

Step 8: Fill out Security questions.

Step 9: Select “None” for credit card.

Step 10: Billing address > work address.

Step 11: Verify ID with your ACC email > Follow the link from your ACC email to verify the account and enter the verification code they sent you in your email.
Verify with your cell phone if prompted.
