Adobe Premiere Rush Overview

Rush is a video editing software available for desktop, iPhone, iPad,  and Android.  Rush is not as powerful and Adobe Premiere.  Files are saved to the cloud and can be accessed by any of the devices. Graphics, videos and a title can be added to the video to the timeline.  Narration may be added as well as background music.  Video can be captured with the apps.  Captioning is not available.   Titles may be used to simulate captioning.

Google Meet Noise Cancellation Not Available to ACC

Email Response from ACC Information Technology:

“According to Google information, the new ‘Noise cancellation’ feature for Google Meet will be available only to G Suite Enterprise, G Suite Enterprise for Education, and G Suite Enterprise Essentials accounts.

This feature will not be available to G Suite Basic, G Suite Business, G Suite for Education, and G Suite for Nonprofits customers.

ACC currently has the G Suite for Education account(not Enterprise).”

Google Meet Nickname Security

Prevent students from reusing class meetings—To make sure students don’t rejoin a class meeting after it has ended, use nicknamed meetings instead of starting a meeting from a Google Calendar event. Even if you reuse the same nickname, participants will not be able to rejoin nicknamed meetings after the final participant has left and the 10-digit meeting code will no longer work.
