Text Annotations (Tooltips)

Text annotations can be created using the Tooltips feature within the editing window of your browser.  Tooltips can be inserted in a image, hyperlink, or media. You can also copy and paste or cut and paste a Tooltip within the same lesson. The Tooltips can also be edited or removed once they have been created.

Adding Users to Your Blackboard Course

You can enroll instructorsstudentsteaching assistants, and other users individually into a course.

Note: While you can’t delete an instructor from a course, you can change their role to “student” and then delete them. Be very wary of deleting any students from here because you will lose the ability to retrieve any of their information or associated files once you delete them from your course.

Blackboard Overview: Tests, Assignments, and Grade Center

An overview of Tests, Assignments, and the Grade Center in Blackboard.

Tests and surveys measure student knowledge, gauge progress, and gather information from students. Assignments create coursework and manage grades as well as feedback for each student. You may access the Grade Center from the Control Panel. The Grade Center can be expanded to display the links to the Needs Grading page, the Full Grade Center, and Smart views.

Show or Hide a Link in Menu – Blackboard

The course menu appears on the left side of your course window and is the cornerstone for the organization and navigation of your course. You create links on the course menu to present instructional materials and tools to users. You can customize its appearance and order the links.
