The Nursing Field of Study Curriculum is intended for generic baccalaureate degree nursing students who plan to take their prerequisite and core curriculum courses at a community college and transfer the block of courses to a general academic teaching institution or health related institution. The block of courses may also be transferred from one general academic teaching institution to another or to a health-related institution. The student shall receive full academic credit toward the degree program for the block of courses transferred.

Austin Community College’s (ACC) field of study courses for nursing are listed below. The Field of Study Curriculum for Nursing consists of 34 semester credit hours (SCH) of lower-division academic courses. These courses are fully transferable to other Texas public colleges and universities and are applicable to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
