July 2026 – Continuing Education Students
Continuing Education students come to ACC with a wide range of experiences, goals, and motivations. Whether they are building new skills, earning industry credentials, advancing their careers, or pursuing personal enrichment, they demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning. Beginning this fall, Continuing Education will become the School of Community Education as part of ACC’s new “School of” structure, creating a more consistent way to organize and communicate the College’s academic offerings. This month, we celebrate these learners and recognize the faculty and staff who support their success.

Continuing Education students thrive when learning is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable to their personal and professional goals. Their strengths include self-direction, intrinsic motivation, and the ability to connect new knowledge with real-world experiences. Supportive and collaborative learning environments help these students actively engage, apply what they learn, and build confidence as they pursue new opportunities.
Through flexible programs, workforce training, industry partnerships, and student support services, ACC helps Continuing Education students gain valuable skills, adapt to evolving industry needs, and achieve their educational and career goals.
Spotlight on Student Resources
Continuing Education course registration: ACC’s Continuing Education course registration system provides students with a streamlined way to search for, enroll in, and manage Continuing Education classes. Students can register for courses, review section details, add or drop classes, and view their schedules on a single, convenient platform. The system also guides new students through account creation, ACCeID activation, and application steps, helping ensure a smooth start to their learning experience. For a step-by-step walkthrough, students can watch this tutorial video. With integrated payment options and clear prompts throughout the process, the course registration website helps students navigate enrollment more easily and with greater confidence while focusing on their educational, professional, and personal goals.
Celebrating Every Story
Through initiatives like the Faces of Our Mission calendar, we highlight the importance of understanding student experiences—backed by research and data—for everyone who shapes learning at ACC. By celebrating cultural heritage, supporting diverse identities, and sharing practical resources, we create an inclusive educational landscape where every student can achieve their goals.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re actually working on a college-wide feature highlighting the School of Community Education that will be published within the next week or so. We appreciate your suggestion and are excited to share this upcoming feature with the college community.
