Are you interested in learning how you can incorporate accessible best practices into your everyday work? Would you like to find ways to help make Austin Community College (ACC) more inclusive and accessible? How about joining a worldwide effort to get people talking, thinking, and learning about digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities?
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, ACC encourages you to celebrate the 13th annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). Participate in the celebration and challenge yourself to increase your knowledge of digital accessibility in education.
Global Accessibility Awareness Day Events
GAAD at AccessU – by Knowbility and hosted by St. Edward’s University
Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 a.m.
GAAD tickets are $125. All activities are hosted by St. Edward’s University at 3001 South Congress Austin, Texas 78704 and all are streamed for remote participation.
TGPi Webinar: Integrate Accessibility into Your Organization
Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m.
Celebrate GAAD with TPGi and learn from their team of experts how to integrate accessibility into your organization. This two-hour event is carefully designed to provide a supportive environment for organizations seeking education on digital accessibility best practices or searching for guidance on how to start their accessibility journey.
Elevate Your Impact: Fostering Inclusion through Content

WeCo’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day Event
