ACC’s Transfer Resources department provides resources and services to help students meet their transfer goals. Please share this information about our services and upcoming events with your students.

2020 Transfer Prep Week: Begins September 14 

Transfer Prep Week provides workshops to help students navigate the transfer process including essay writing workshops, and application sessions from UT and Texas A&M University. Visit austincc.edu/transferprep for the full schedule.

Transfer Academy 

The Transfer Academy helps students learn the fundamentals of the transfer process and provides the necessary strategies and resources for a successful transfer. Virtual session offered throughout the semester: austincc.edu/transferacademy.

Classroom Presentations

Our team is available to present our 1-hour Transfer Essentials presentation to your classes via a synchronous presentation or we can provide a recorded version to share with your class. Request a presentation by filling out the request form.

One-on-One Appointments

Career and Transfer Specialists are able to meet with students to explore transfer destinations and assist with the transfer application process. Students can request an appointment on our website www.austincc.edu/transfer.

*NEW* Events and Resources

In response to the virtual environment, we have expanded our services to include:

• Online Admissions Resource spreadsheet – virtual campus tours, admissions sessions and how students can connect with university recruiters
• Live Chat with a Transfer Specialist – students can chat with us to get their quick transfer questions answered. Hours at austincc.edu/transferevents
• Transfer 101 Blackboard Extension – provides information to prepare students for transfer, a discussion board to connect with peers, and resources to help students prepare for a successful transfer. Students can sign up by completing the registration form.
