Presidential Student Achievement Award Nominations Open
January 23, 2020
Nominate a deserving student for the Spring Presidential Student Achievement Award (PSAA)!
The Presidential Student Achievement Award is the most prestigious student award given by ACC. The recipient must demonstrate academic excellence, service to the college and community, and commitment to ACC values and vision. The recipient receives a $500 award, a plaque, and the opportunity to deliver the student address at commencement. As far as requirements, candidates must have a 3.5+ cumulative GPA, meet satisfactory levels of financial and academic responsibility, and be in good standing within the Student Standards of Conduct.
(Please also note: Students must be graduating Spring 2020 to qualify for this award. Don’t worry about checking their eligibility. This will be confirmed by the registrar’s office upon submission)
You interact with our students each and every day. Help us recognize the outstanding students at ACC by submitting a nomination this semester and encouraging your campus team to do the same. The more nominations, the merrier! Nominations can come from anyone on campus, including faculty, staff and students. However, students cannot nominate themselves. You can access the nomination form here: PSAA Nomination Form (this link will not be live until the nominations open).
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the award or the nomination process. You can also find additional information about eligibility requirements and the selection process on the Student Life PSAA web page.
Thanks so much,
