Allowing Students Multiple Attempts on a Test or Survey

You can allow a student to take a test multiple times. Allowing multiple attempts is the best option if the test or survey is a self-assessment. If it’s a graded test, you will probably want to keep this option off so that the student can’t retake it if they don’t like their grade.

Creating Smart Views in Blackboard Grade Center

A smart view is a focused look at the Grade Center that shows only the columns that match a set of criteria.  With smart views, you can view the progress of an existing group, student performance for a particular item, Individual students, category and status of items, or a custom combination of attributes.  Smart views also allow you to track students with low progress as well as do a grade column assessment comparison between a calculated test column and calculated assignment column. You can compare the two columns to see how well students are performing.
