Creating Content Items

For Blackboard courses, you can create individual pieces of content in content containers: content areas, learning modules, lesson plans, and folders. In a content container, you create content from menus for content items, tests, assignments, and links to tools. You can add or upload images, files, and media using the text editor.

Managing Dates

You can use the Date Management feature to update content dates when you copy or restore a course from a previous term or calendar year. Date types include due dates, availability, and adaptive release dates related to the course content. Items with dates that are supported with this feature include: tests, surveys, assignments, blogs, items, files, and more.

Editing or Deleting Blackboard Menu Items

The course menu appears on the left side of your Blackboard course window and is the cornerstone for the organization and navigation of your course.  You can edit (rename, show/hide, or delete) and reorder menu items.
