- Go to Control Panel > Course Tools > Journals.
- Click Create Journal.
- Enter a Name and add Instructions.
- Set Availability and Date and Time Restrictions if needed.
- Select Journal Settings as appropriate.
- Determine if journal is to be graded or not. If grading, enter the number of Points Possible; a column will be automatically created for it in the grade center.
- Click Submit.
- You must create a Tool Link to the journals page or deploy journals to a Content Area for students to access them.
