Accessibility at ACC: policy update and new ADA regulations
In 2025, the Academic and Student Affairs Council updated Administrative Rule 5.0401.01 Course Materials Orders. Additionally, starting April 2026, new ADA regulations will require colleges like ACC to ensure all online courses, digital content, and apps meet accessibility standards. The Office of Distance & Alternative Education is offering a variety of training sessions to give you the skills to design accessible, inclusive online learning. ACC launches new service request system
ACC has officially transitioned from the Mojo ticketing system to TeamDynamix (TDX) — the College’s new, streamlined platform for service requests. Bookmark the new portal: acchelp.austincc.edu

Connect our students with support services
Submit the Basic Needs System (BNS) Referral Form to connect students with support services that address barriers to their overall well-being and success. This includes access to resources related to food, housing, transportation, childcare, mental health, financial assistance, disability services, and more. Once submitted, a member of the Basic Needs team will follow up with the student.
New Learning Management System administrative rule and guidelines
ACC has adopted an administrative rule and guidelines establishing minimum Learning Management System (Blackboard Ultra) standards across all course modalities. These standards improve course navigation and ensure consistent access to essential materials.

New ACC AI Resource Hub
The ACC Generative AI Resource Hub is your central space to explore how ACC is implementing Generative AI across the College. The work is guided by ACC’s Collegewide AI Strategic Planning and Implementation Steering Committees in close partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department.
New syllabus policy
Starting fall 2025, all ACC course syllabi must include a generative AI statement —Prohibited, Permitted, or Required. This policy ensures students understand your expectations for AI use in the classroom.

Educational technology support
Educational Technologists are located on each campus, and the teams provide faculty – and staff – training and support on Blackboard Ultra and other academic technologies, classroom AV, and provide technology that can be checked out to support instruction. The Educational Technology Support team can be reached with a central phone number for support across the District – 512-223-0111.
Do you need a webcam, iPad, or headset? Faculty can visit their campus Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) to check out equipment.
ACC Library Services
Library support continues during intersession. 24/7 Live Chat with a Librarian is available to assist with assignments, research, citations, and aligning resources with your curriculum.
