Office Of Faculty Communications

The Office of Faculty Communications (OFC) connects Austin Community College (ACC) faculty to opportunities and information that support student success across the College. We aim to keep every ACC educator informed, motivated, and engaged from hire to retire. We collaborate with College Marketing, Student Affairs, and many partners across ACC to share timely, relevant messages.

A part of the OFC, the Instructional Web Projects (IWP) team builds student-facing instructional websites and applications with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design. We design and redesign sites, and we migrate content from other platforms into ACC’s modern WordPress environment.

Faculty Communications Services

Before you submit

This form is for faculty-focused communications only.
Same-day requests may not be possible due to workload.
For general requests, allow two to three business days for review.
For full communications strategy support, submit at least three weeks in advance.

All-inclusive communications strategy	Share your information across multiple channels (newsletter, events calendar, digital signage, and social media). Optional support with graphic design and content creation.
Blog post submission	Submit a post from an FLC or faculty initiative for the TLED blog .
Communications consultation	Meet to discuss internal messaging, email strategy, graphic design, or to brainstorm solutions to a communications challenge.
Content editing support	Copyediting for drafted content prior to finalization.
Email memo	Have a written memo sent to a faculty audience.
Faculty Events Calendar only	Add your event to the faculty events calendar.
Graphic design	Request a digital or print graphic.
Teaching & Learning Weekly newsletter feature	Submit information for the Teaching & Learning Weekly email newsletter. Features are limited and prioritized by timing and relevance.
TLED website content update	Request an update to an existing TLED web page.
