Sadaf Sajjad — Professor of Psychology

Dr. Sadaf Sajjad is a Professor of Psychology at Austin Community College, where she integrates Global Studies and Peace and Conflict perspectives into her Introduction to Psychology courses. She also teaches an Honors course exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Psychology. With an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence and a Ph.D. focused on digitizing psychotherapies, her research spans clinical psychology, AI applications, and global mental health. She has conducted and supervised research across Japan, Pakistan, and Malaysia, and regularly presents at academic conferences. A recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award, she is passionate about innovative, interdisciplinary teaching and research.
