The Student Research Symposium is an annual celebration of academic excellence at Austin Community College. This event provides students from all disciplines the opportunity to showcase their research, creative projects, and scholarly work.

LEAD Student Research Symposium

The Liberal Education Advancement and Development (LEAD) initiative at ACC is proud to announce the 2026 Undergraduate Research Symposium to be held on April 25, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, at the Highland Campus. LEAD invites applications from students and faculty across all disciplines and levels of research experiences. Whether your passion lies in analyzing data, writing literary criticism, or prototyping a design, we want to see your work! 

Oral Presentations

Share your research through a structured presentation with Q&A. Perfect for in-depth discussions of your methodology, findings, and implications.

Poster Presentations

Display your work visually and engage with attendees one-on-one. Ideal for showcasing data, processes, and visual results.

Multimedia

Incorporate videos, interactive elements, or digital portfolios to demonstrate creative and technical projects.

All ACC students are welcome!

– Current ACC students from any campus 

– All academic disciplines and programs 

– Individual researchers or collaborative teams 

– Faculty who support student research can nominate their students
