Jonathan Rodriguez — Professor of Government

I am a first-generation college student and a Dual Credit Faculty Fellow in the Government Department. I am passionate about researching voting patterns and exploring the barriers faced by minority and underrepresented students in higher education. My work focuses on fostering equitable learning environments and supporting student success. I strive to be the professor I wish I had as a first-generation student – engaging, supportive, and committed to helping students navigate academic challenges while inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
