Heidi Juel — Professor of Composition and Literary Studies

Prof. Juel is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in Secondary Education, English, and German. She has an MA in English from the University of Texas (Austin). As a professor at ACC, she maintains her passion for psychological fiction, Magical Realism and Indigenous arts and activism. She enjoys sharing and encouraging these passions with students in her Honors courses and her LEAD courses, which focus on ethics and the art of persuasion as well as realities and (im)mortality. When she’s not grading papers, Prof. Juel spends her time in the great outdoors.
