Ellen Reyes — Adjunct Professor, Composition and Literary Studies

After moving to Texas in December 2017, I have taught a variety of both high school and college-level courses including ESL, Inclusion, OnRamps, and Dual Credit. My love of learning with and from my students has flourished in these classes.

Working with high school students has led me to question and discover methods to engage and support learners in our modern world. Acknowledging the pace and practices of society while also encouraging students to intentionally pause and develop their critical thinking skills has been a key focal point in my most recent teaching experiences.
