Brinda Roy — Program Coordinator, LEAD; Professor of Composition and Literary Studies

Dr. Brinda Roy is a Professor of English in the Composition and Literary Studies department, where she teaches in both the Honors and the Liberal Education Advancement and Development (LEAD) Programs. Her approach to teaching emphasizes critical inquiry, interdisciplinary engagement, and the development of students’ academic voice. Beyond the classroom, Brinda serves as Program Coordinator for ACC’s LEAD initiative. Since 2020, she has also facilitated a Faculty Learning Community on Global Education, a collaborative initiative between the Hemispheres Consortium at the University of Texas at Austin and ACC’s International Programs, which helps faculty integrate global perspectives into the curriculum.
