Ray Sandoval — Professor of General Studies, Student Development

I have been with the college since 2001. I have worked here as a work-study, hourly, prof-tech, adjunct, and now a full-time faculty. When I was kid, I wanted to be an actor, FBI agent, and the first Hispanic President of the United States! I haven’t been able to achieve those goals. However, I have become a first-generation high school graduate, college graduate, veteran, and now a college professor. Which I believe allows me to achieve a higher level of connectivity with my students in the classroom that are also striving to be/becoming the first in their families to go college, graduate, and so forth,
