APTE Constitution Update

Hello APTE members,

Since September, the APTE officers, along with several members of the Executive Council, have been working to review and update the Constitution. We conducted a thorough review of the document and have now completed that work.

Overall, no major structural changes were made, other than separating the Secretary-Treasurer officer role into two separate positions. Most revisions focus on updating language so the document better reflects APTE’s current structure and practices since it was last updated in 2013.

I am sharing the updated document with you so you have the opportunity to review it. If you have any comments or suggested edits, please feel free to add them directly to the document.

For reference, I have included:

The following timeline is proposed:

  • Wednesday, March 25: Updated Constitution shared with all APTE members
  • Wednesday, April 8: Voting to approve revised Constitution period begins
  • Wednesday, April 29: Voting period ends

Thank you for taking the time to review the document and for your continued support of APTE’s work. For any questions, please email [email protected]

Best regards,

Marc Jimenez
