{"id":8347,"date":"2019-08-30T15:55:56","date_gmt":"2019-08-30T15:55:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/accinsweb8366.wpenginepowered.com\/tledupdates\/?p=8347"},"modified":"2022-12-09T22:43:40","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T22:43:40","slug":"fall-2019-testing-center-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/tledupdates\/2019\/08\/30\/fall-2019-testing-center-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2019 Testing Center Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The content of this post is a copy of what Holly Delacroix \u2013 DeRouen, Director of Testing,<\/em> <em>sent out to all faculty on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Hello Faculty!<\/p>\n<p>Here is some important information from Instructional Testing Centers (ITC) that will assist you in your use of our services during the Fall 2019 semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours of Operation and Closures:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/campus-contacts?field_contact_campus_value=All&amp;field_contact_office_or_dept_value=Testing+Centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/campus-contacts?field_contact_campus_value%3DAll%26field_contact_office_or_dept_value%3DTesting%2BCenters&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1567260625376000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHhB08_BlB5_YYQ1WEhIISdDXUpLw\" data-mt-detrack-inspected=\"true\" data-mt-detrack-attachment-inspected=\"true\">Instructional Testing Center Hours<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Testing centers will have extended Friday hours until 5 pm on the last two Fridays of the \u00a0Fall semester, December 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and December 13<sup>th.<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Instructional Testing Closures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunday, September 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 Monday, September 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2019 \u2013 Labor Day<\/li>\n<li>Thursday, November 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 December 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2019 \u2013 Thanksgiving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Test Transmittal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most recent version of the Test Transmittal is attached. Please use the online transmittal submission or the copy attached.\u00a0 Testing Centers\u00a0<strong>will not<\/strong>\u00a0accept old copies of transmittals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadlines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The last day to receive exams, transmittal forms, and related test materials for the Fall 2019 semester:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, December 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019 at 1:00pm for non-weekend campus Testing\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Centers (EVC, EGN, HYS, SGC)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, December 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019 at 5:00pm for weekend campus Testing Centers (CYP, NRG, HLC, RRC, RVS, SAC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0SAS Accommodations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students whose single accommodation is extended time will test in the Testing Centers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B3IU4XXIwpHadDFwLVpoeDIyRmRRUFFUZGlEeXNlcGpZcldB\/view?usp=sharing\">Faculty Testing Center Guidelines<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B3IU4XXIwpHaZTV4QnNlZlBXZjR0T0JZNVdBTHE0bUJuczUw\/view?usp=sharing\">Student Testing Center Guidelines<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0B3IU4XXIwpHaMThQOC10MnBWRFctNWlvMnRwdHJ2Vmx0ZlBj\/view?usp=sharing\">Student Accessibility Services Testing Center Procedures<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tes<\/strong><strong>ting Center Violations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Violations are recorded in ACC\u2019s conduct software, Maxient. Resolutions and\/or sanctions concerning academic dishonesty in the Testing Center must be forwarded to the Director of Testing for documentation purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and Student Testing Center procedures are attached for your reference.
