The Faces of Our Mission<\/em><\/a> series showcases Austin Community College (ACC) students and the programs and resources that support their success. This month, we\u2019re featuring Continuing Education students and their commitment to lifelong learning, career advancement, and personal enrichment. Whether they are building new skills, earning industry credentials, advancing their careers, or pursuing personal enrichment, they demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning. Beginning this fall, Continuing Education will become the School of Community Education as part of ACC\u2019s new \u201cSchool of\u201d<\/a> structure, creating a more consistent way to organize and communicate the College\u2019s academic offerings. This month, we celebrate these learners and recognize the faculty and staff who support their success.<\/p>\n Continuing Education students thrive when learning is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable to their personal and professional goals. Their strengths include self-direction, intrinsic motivation, and the ability to connect new knowledge with real-world experiences. The system also guides new students through account creation, ACCeID activation, and application steps, helping ensure a smooth start to their learning experience.
