Additionally, starting on April 26, 2027, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ada.gov\/resources\/2024-03-08-web-rule\/#top\">new ADA regulations<\/a> will require colleges such as Austin Community College (ACC) to ensure that all online courses, digital content, and apps meet accessibility standards. The Division of Digital Learning (DL) is offering a <a href=\"https:\/\/de.austincc.edu\/distance-education-training\/\"> variety of training sessions<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/de.austincc.edu\/accessibility\/\">accessibility resources,<\/a> to give you the skills to design accessible, inclusive online learning. Bookmark the new portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/acchelp.austincc.edu\/TDClient\/277\/Portal\/Home\/\">acchelp.austincc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><b>Learning Management System administrative rule and guidelines<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Effective May 19, 2025, ACC adopted an administrative rule and guidelines establishing minimum Learning Management System (Blackboard Ultra) standards across all course modalities. The work is guided by ACC\u2019s Collegewide AI Strategic Planning and Implementation Steering Committees in close partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department.
