The Office of Distance and Alternative Education is offering the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Distance Education Faculty Learning Community (FLC) focused on AI teaching and learning where participants can explore a variety of topics to enhance their understanding and implementation of artificial intelligence in an educational setting. Through a series of engaging sessions, participants will explore various ways AI can enhance course development, delivery, and student engagement.<\/p>\n

This group provides a platform for knowledge sharing, peer collaboration, and practical skill development to ensure faculty are well-equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of AI in distance education.<\/p>\n

Applicant Prerequisites:<\/strong> Participants must teach at least one course during the FLC.
\nStipend:<\/strong> $500 stipend will be paid after participating in the FLC and successfully meeting all requirements.
\nProfessional Development:<\/strong> 9 hours (To self-report credits, go to Workday > Profile icon > View Profile > Career > Training > Add Training)
\nRegistration Cap<\/strong>: Minimum: 6 Faculty \/ Maximum: 20 Faculty<\/p>\n
