Austin Community College (ACC) recognizes that faculty, staff, and students may use names other than their legal name to identify themselves. The College has created a process<\/a> that allows students to request the use of a chosen first name where possible within the College\u2019s records and systems. Legal names will continue to be used when necessary for College business or legal purposes.<\/article>\n

Connect our Students with Support Services: Basic Needs Referral Form<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Basic Needs System (BNS) Referral Form <\/a> is designed to connect students with support services that address barriers to their overall well-being and success. This includes access to resources related to food, housing, transportation, childcare, mental health, financial assistance, disability services, and more.<\/p>\n

Please complete this form <\/a> if you are concerned about a student\u2019s basic needs or if a student has expressed difficulty meeting their basic needs. Once submitted, a member of the Basic Needs team will follow up with the student to provide support, resource navigation, and individualized case management as appropriate.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Student Support and Services<\/h3>\n

ACC students have access to free support and services\u2014from food pantries and mental health support to tutors,\u00a0 advisors, career specialists, and transfer specialists. Please share the Student Support page<\/a> with your students.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Student Technology Services (STS)<\/h3>\n

ACC students can check out a variety of devices during the fall term to support academic success. STS also provides technology support via phone, email, and live chat. Share the Student Technology Services website<\/a> with your students.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Computer Centers<\/h3>\n

The Computer Centers<\/a>, located in or near each campus library, are open computing spaces with software available for general student use. Services include writing papers, completing online coursework, accessing the Internet, and using ACCmail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

ACC Library Services<\/h3>\n

ACC Campus Libraries are open on every campus, and e-resources are available anytime through the library website<\/a>. Live chat with a librarian<\/a> is available 24\/7.<\/p>\n
