These tools help you identify barriers and fix issues directly in the Grackle panel without leaving your file.<\/p>\n<p>The Grackle Docs add-on in Google Workspace for Education is available to all ACC users with an @austincc.edu email address.<\/p>\n<h2>Access<\/h2>\n<p>To use Grackle Docs, log in to your ACC Google account, then:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open a Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the toolbar and choose <strong>Extensions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Grackle Docs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Launch<\/strong> to open the panel on the right. (You may need to grant permissions the first time.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Grackle Docs is available to all ACC employees.<\/p>\n<h2>Overview<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase awareness of accessibility best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Create content that works with assistive technology.<\/li>\n<li>Produce content that is mobile friendly, secure, and useful for everyone.<\/li>\n<li>Use intuitive checks and fixes based on WCAG 2.0 standards.<\/li>\n<li>Speed up conversion to formats such as braille, audio, and screen reader\u2013accessible versions.<\/li>\n<li>Convert Docs and Slides to tagged PDFs compliant with the Adobe PDF\/UA (Universal Accessibility) standard after fixes are complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Getting started<\/h2>\n<p>Review the demo video and use the quick-start guides to begin.
