Adobe Creative Suite
Austin Community College is an Adobe Creative Campus, making the Creative Suite available to faculty, staff, and students at reduced or no cost.
Mediasite provides the ability for faculty and staff to record lectures from their home or office computers, whether it includes voice-over PowerPoint or a video of themselves on camera, or a mixture of both!
ACC is continuously expanding support and use of iPads in the classroom. This category provides training & resources on how to best integrate iPads into teaching & learning.
As the ACC Learning Management System, Blackboard provides countless features and tools to deliver your class either fully-online or in a hybrid format. Many of the articles here will provide you with an overview and refer you to the BB Knowledge Base for more information.
Faculty, staff, and students have access to GSuite, a set of tools that promotes collaboration and sharing among peers. These tools can be seamlessly integrated into your course.
WebEx is one of the supported web-conferencing solutions at ACC. From holding virtual office hours to delivering a real-time class session or meeting, WebEx has a variety of features to support you, including it's integration with Google Calendar.
VidGrid is a cloud-based lecture capture solution that allows you to record videos of yourself or your screen, publish them to the cloud, and then share the videos with your students through Blackboard. VidGrid is only available for faculty, and shares similar functionality with Mediasite (available for all users).
