This is a known issue with the vendor and they are currently working on a resolution. In the meantime, students will be unable complete exams in Lockdown Browser if their iPad is running iPadOS 18. Students can still take advantage of the 8 Computer Centers or 4 ACCelerators around the ACC District.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To install <span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Respondus Lockdown Browser on a Chromebook<\/strong> please follow the steps below.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sign into <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/acconline.austincc.edu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Blackboard&nbsp;<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to the link for the exam<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Chromebook should launch a webpage for you to install the Lockdown Browser from the Chrome store.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If it does not work, you can try to download the application from this link &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/lockdown-browser-v3\/fogjeanjfbiombghnmkmmophfeccjdki\">https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/lockdown-browser-v3\/fogjeanjfbiombghnmkmmophfeccjdki<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><i>*<\/i><i>Please keep in mind, that if a school district owns your Chromebook you will <\/i><i>not <\/i><i>be able to install Lockdown Browser (or anything else) through our link.
