Student Technology Services does not provide direct, student-facing training on the use of Microsoft Office 365. In lieu of providing these services in-house, we curate 3rd party resources that can help support students.

Students can use Microsoft Office 365 by following the steps listed below:

Please note that Microsoft has updated their security protocols and now requires two factor authentication (2FA) in order to use Office 365.  During the steps below you may be presented with a screen that states “Action Required.  Your organization requires additional security information. Follow the prompts to download and setup the Microsoft Authenticator App.”  You will need to click the next button and follow those steps.  Though the message states “your organization requires addition security information”, this was implemented by Microsoft and not by Austin Community College.  For questions regarding the Microsoft Authenticator app and two factor authentication (2FA) with Microsoft Office, please contact Microsoft for assistance.
