How Does Grading Work?

One of the great things that sets Packback apart from other online discussion platforms is our Curiosity Scoring System, which calculates a grade for you based on a set of criteria. Some instructors have even set up a grade book for you so that you can see how many points you’ve earned in your class for a given week.

How to Upload a PDF Into a Video

Viewers will be able to access the PDF(s) in the video player as a secondary stream. Please note: PDF uploads are currently limited to 100 MB. Additionally, PDF(s) will appear in the embedded viewer at the beginning of the video. As such, Viewers will need to select Close in the upper right corner to proceed with watching the video.

How to Record a Video

Panopto Capture allows a user to easily record audio, video, and screens or applications. A user can access Panopto Capture directly within their browser instead of downloading the desktop application.

Video files are comprised of containers and codecs. The most common format is an MP4 container, with H.264 Video codec and AAC audio codec.  The following article includes the containers and codecs officially supported by Panopto Cloud and Panopto On-Prem setups.  To provide an optimal streaming experience, Panopto encodes into AAC/H264 and packages into HLS in multiple quality levels for video playback in any modern browser.
