Lockdown Browser for Chromebooks

You can install Lockdown Browser for Chromebook using the following steps:

  • Student signs into their Chromebook as normal and launches the Chrome browser
  • Student signs into Blackboard (https://acconline.austincc.edu) and navigates to the exam requiring LockDown Browser
  • Student selects the link for downloading and installing LockDown Browser. (This should launch the Chrome Web Store)
  • From the Chrome Web Store, select “Add to Chrome” to install the LockDown Browser Extension

If you do not see the link for downloading and installing LockDown Browser when you navigate to your test, you can try to download the extension from this link – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lockdown-browser-v3/fogjeanjfbiombghnmkmmophfeccjdki
