Student Technology Services does not provide direct, student-facing training on using Blackboard Ultra. In lieu of providing these services in-house, we curate 3rd party resources that can help support students.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1.  Find the Assignment:Navigate to the course in Blackboard Ultra and locate the assignment you need to submit. 
  2.  Open the Assignment:Click on the assignment link to access the assignment instructions and submission area. 
  3.  Read Instructions:Take a moment to review the assignment instructions and any specific requirements for submission. 
  4.  Access Submission Area:Look for the “Submission” area, which may have a text editor or a “Browse” or “Attachment” option for uploading files. 
  5.  Enter or Upload Submission:
    • Text Editor: Type your submission directly into the provided text editor. 
    • File Upload: Click on the “Attachment” or “Browse” icon (usually a paperclip) and select the file from your computer to upload. 
  6.  Review Submission:Carefully review your submission to ensure it is complete and correct before submitting. 
  7.  Submit Assignment:Click the “Submit” button to finalize your submission. 
  8. Confirmation:After submitting, you should see a confirmation message, and you may receive an email notification.
