Basic and individual training do not contribute to the 181 day requirement.\u00a0 HOWEVER, a DD 214 that indicated Texas as Home of Record\/Place of entry, with less than 181 days current active service, BUT with PRIOR active duty service may count, as long as the service adds up to 181 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Honorable OR GENERAL discharge UNDER HONORABLE conditions- nothing else counts.
