The Defamation Experience

Austin Community College invited the public to participate in an interactive social justice event 10 a.m. to noon Friday, February 23, at Eastview Campus, Room 8500 (3401 Webberville Rd.).

The Defamation Experience was a play that incorporated audience participation to explore the law and surrounding issues of race, religion, gender, and class bias. Through deliberations and post-show discussions, audiences engaged in civil discourse that challenge preconceived notions. A post-show discussion followed.

ACC’s Office of Equity and Inclusion is hosting the event.
