EDUC 1300 Assignments
This assignment is designed to help students reflect on their experience at the Pathway Discovery Session(s) they attend. Each Assignment covers the following SLOs and asks students to complete the same Google Form.
EDUC 1300 SLOs
- Identify and utilize services and resources to support learning and academic success.
- Identify and develop social support networks that encourage and strengthen academic achievement.
- Identify when additional support is needed and utilize available resources to support their own success.
General Education SLO: Critical Thinking Skills
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, evaluate and apply information for the purposes of innovation, inquiry, and creative thinking.
Reflection
This document is intended to be used as a way to reflect on your major, as well as how helpful the PDS event was in your confidence in your major and sense of belonging at ACC.
Questionnaire with Advisor or Faculty
This is a chance to meet with a faculty member, advisor, or staff member who works for the department/major you are interested in. Email them to see if you can meet to ask them five questions. After the brief interview, you have one reflection question and a Google Form about the PDS experience.
Information Gathering Activity
This assignment has a table for you to navigate the information about your chosen major. It also has a Google Form to see how helpful the PDS event was with your major and sense of belonging.
