Technology is constantly evolving. To ensure that ACC continues to adapt to changing industries, the Office of Academic Technology is regularly reviewing tools that meet at the intersection of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. the needs of ACC faculty, staff, and students; and,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. changes and advancements in technology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Mentimeter<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Mentimeter is an online presentation tool that provides live polls, quizzes, and Q&A functionality. Mentimeter is being evaluated as a potential replacement for our existing interactive presentation software based on the large number of ACC faculty who are already utilizing it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Qwickly Jot<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    ACC has used Qwickly Attendance software in conjunction with Blackboard for many years to provide support to faculty who teach in hybrid, hyflex, and online only modalities. Qwickly Jot is a feature that allows students to write on diagrams, charts, maps, and more inside the Learning Management System. <\/span>

    Everway<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Everway provides education technology focused on neuroinclusive solutions and three distinct tools are being evaluated: Read&Write, OrbitNote, and Equatio<\/span>. These tools create accessible, collaborative content and have the potential to provide a holistic approach to access and disability support for ACC students and employees.
