Your Personal Meeting Room is a permanent, virtual meeting room that you may access with your Personal Meeting ID or personal link. So instead of having to schedule meetings individually every time a student wants to meet, this is a great alternative!<\/p>\n

Here are the steps:<\/p>\n

ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL MEETING ROOM<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to the Zoom website at<\/li>\n
  2. Click\u00a0\u201cSign In\u201d<\/strong> and log on with your ACC username and password.<\/li>\n
  3. First, ensure that the\u00a0\u201cMeetings\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>button is selected on the left-hand side. Then, at the top menu, select\u00a0\u201cPersonal Meeting Room\u201d<\/strong>. Here, you will see all of the information and some of the settings associated with your Personal Meeting Room.\"Image<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4. Toward the middle of the page, you can see your personal\u00a0\u201cMeeting ID\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cJoin URL\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>associated with your personal meeting room. To give your students access to your room, share your URL link.<\/p>\n

    SETTING A PASSWORD FOR YOUR PERSONAL MEETING ROOM<\/h2>\n

    1. Go to the Zoom website at\u00a0http:\/\/austincc.zoom.us<\/li>\n
    2. Click\u00a0\u201cSign In\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and log on with your WaveNet username and password.<\/li>\n
    3. To set a password for your Personal Meeting Room, first, click \u201cMeeting\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0on the top menu.<\/li>\n
    4. Next, select \u201cSettings\u201d<\/strong> on the sidebar listed on the left.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      5. Scroll down until you see a setting titled\u00a0\u201cRequire a password for Personal Meeting ID (PMI)\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and select the button to switch it\u00a0\u201con\u201d<\/strong>. To verify, make sure that the color has switched from gray to blue.<\/p>\n
