Creating Different Graded VoiceThread Assignments in Blackboard Ultra<\/h2>\n

You can require students to Create<\/strong> a VoiceThread of their own to submit, Comment<\/strong> on a VoiceThread you\u2019ve created, or simply Watch<\/strong> a VoiceThread from start to finish.<\/p>\n

Start with Assignment Builder<\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. From any Add Content icon (+) in Course Content, select\u00a0Content Market<\/strong>. \"Course<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. From the Content Market, scroll down and select\u00a0VoiceThread<\/strong>. \"Content<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. You will be redirected to the VoiceThread activity type menu.\u00a0 Select Assignment Builder<\/a> and click Continue<\/strong>. \"VoiceThread<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Choose from one of four options:
    \n    \"Assignment<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Create: <\/strong>Students will be required to create and submit their own VoiceThread.<\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. Click on Create.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. When the assignment creation window opens enter a description for the assignment.<\/li>\n
    3. Click Create Assignment<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      Comment: <\/strong>Students will be required to submit a comment on an existing VoiceThread.<\/h5>\n

      1. Select Comment.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. When the assignment creation window opens select a VoiceThread from your Library (or create a new one by clicking on Create new VoiceThread).<\/li>\n
      3. Enter a description of the assignment.<\/li>\n
      4. Set the number of comments.<\/li>\n
      5. Opt to share or moderate comments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        Watch: <\/strong>Students will be required to watch an entire VoiceThread.<\/h5>\n
          \n
        1. Click on Watch.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. When the assignment creation window opens select a VoiceThread from your Library or create a new one by clicking on Create a VoiceThread<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Enter a description of the assignment.<\/li>\n
        4. Click Create Assignment<\/strong>.\n

          1. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            Reconnect to an old assignment you have already created:<\/strong><\/h5>\n
              \n
            1. Click on Reconnect Previous Assignment<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
            2. You will be redirected to a list of all VT assignments you have previously created for your Blackboard course.\u00a0 Click on the assignment you want to reconnect.<\/li>\n
            3. Click\u00a0Publish<\/strong>.\u00a0 The Blackboard VT link will now direct the student to the republished assignment.\n
