<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n3. Next, under the first section Download Options<\/strong>, click the Grade History<\/strong> selector to begin generating a Grade History report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instructors are able to select various parameters which will inform the software which data items to pull from the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Record Details:<\/strong> Instructors can select one by one which items to pull information from throughout the course, or instructors can choose Select All Items<\/strong> to pull data from all <\/span>associated course items in the Gradebook<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Last Modified Date: Instructors can choose a timeframe for the Grade History report. Parameters include: All Time<\/span>, 6 months<\/span>, 30 days<\/span>, 14 days<\/span>, 7 days<\/span>, or 1 day.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- File Type: <\/strong>Instructors can choose which type of file to generate for download to their computer or machine. File types offered are Tab-separated Files<\/strong> (.xls) or Comma Separated Values<\/strong> files (.csv). These files are recommended for access via Microsoft Excel<\/span>, Google Sheets,<\/span> or a similar software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Save Location: <\/strong>Instructors can select where to save the generated Grade History <\/strong>report. Options are on the local machine via My Device<\/strong>, or to the Blackboard Course Cloud via Content Collection<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAfter selecting all of the various parameters, click Download <\/strong>at the bottom of the side-panel menu to generate and download the Grade History Report<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note: If selecting only a few items for download, this can take longer <\/em>within the browser for Blackboard Ultra to locate the information, generate a report for those singular items, and then to download them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Simply leave the browser window or tab open until you see the file downloaded into your Downloads<\/strong> or previously selected folder(s). This can take up to 5-10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. When the report has been generated and successfully downloaded onto your machine, a small black pop-up will appear within the browser window stating Download Complete.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Chrome<\/span>, for example, locating and opening the Recent Downloads<\/strong> icon as marked by the small downward facing arrow with a box will allow you to view those files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click to open the file and view the Grade History report on your device.<\/p>\n\n\n

- Type <\/strong>of assessment and grade category <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Last edition<\/strong> user\u2019s details <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Student username <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Submission receipt:<\/strong> The submission receipt number <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Submission attempt<\/strong>: The number of the submitted attempt <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Type<\/strong>: If it was a regular or an override grade <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Obtained value <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Event<\/strong>: Additional details such as if was a group attempt, if it\u2019s not posted or if it needs grading <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Non-posted grades are included in the file as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
