Overview and Procedural Steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Panopto editor Save As feature allows users to save a trimmed version of an existing video while leaving the original video unchanged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Open the video in the editor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Edit the video accordingly. Once you have completed all desired edits and\/or trims, click the More Actions<\/strong> icon (three vertical dots) and select Save As<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. In the Save As window, specify a title (the original video title with “copy” added is the default) and choose a destination folder. If you want to omit the trimmed sections from the copy, select the Discard cut sections in the new video<\/strong> toggle. Click Save<\/strong> when finished. The video copy will open in a new browser tab accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
