Be aware that if you change an existing assignment that students can access, some students may have started their submissions. You can&#8217;t change the grading schema if you&#8217;ve already started grading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Move&nbsp;<\/strong>button in an assignment&#8217;s row and move it to a new location. You can also move an assignment into a folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an assignment&#8217;s row, open the menu to select&nbsp;<strong>Edit&nbsp;<\/strong>or&nbsp;<strong>Delete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/help.blackboard.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/rich_text_large\/public\/images\/2020-11\/editmenu.png.jpg?w=580&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"The Course content section is open with 1) an assignment selected, 2) the &quot;Move&quot; icon clicked and highlighted, and 3) the dropdown list with the options to edit, reorder, or delete assignments on screen.\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use your keyboard to move an assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tab to an item&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>Move&nbsp;<\/strong>button (the button&nbsp;is&nbsp;two vertical arrows: one pointing up, one pointing down).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press&nbsp;<strong>Enter&nbsp;<\/strong>to activate move mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the arrow keys to choose a location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press&nbsp;<strong>Enter&nbsp;<\/strong>to drop the item in the new location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete assignments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can delete an assignment from your course and if no student submissions exist, the gradebook item is also deleted. For assignments with submissions, you must confirm that you want to permanently remove the assignment, all submissions, and grades from your course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, hide the assignment from students to preserve the submissions and the scores in the Gradebook.
