How Students Submit a Video Assignment with Panopto<\/h2>\n

  1. In your Blackboard course, locate and open the video assignment and follow the instructional steps provided by your instructor.

  2. In the Blackboard assignment page, click on the\u00a0Insert Content<\/strong> icon (circled plus sign) and from the drop-down menu, select Content Market<\/strong>.

  3. In the Content Market, select Panopto Student Submission Tool<\/strong>.\"Content<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. From the Panopto Student Submission Tool window, either select the\u00a0Upload\u00a0<\/strong>tab to add a video or audio file from your device (MP4, WMV, AVI, MOV, QT, ASF, 3GP, WMA, or MP3) and once the file has finished uploading, select\u00a0Insert.\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. OR<\/strong> select the Record<\/strong> tab and click Launch Capture <\/strong>to use the browser-based Panopto recording app.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. This will open Panopto Capture<\/strong>\u00a0in a new browser tab. This is where you will record your video. Make sure to select the appropriate\u00a0audio input, video input, <\/strong>and\u00a0screens or apps to share<\/strong> for the assignment at hand. \"An<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Before recording, you can change a few more settings via the gear<\/strong> icon in the lower-right corner. Once you are all set, click the red record button<\/strong> in the middle of the screen to start your recording. When you are finished recording,\u00a0click the red record button<\/strong> once more.

  8. Once you stop recording, you will be presented with the Video Preparation Page.\u00a0<\/strong>Wait until that page says\u00a0Your video is ready<\/strong> in the upper-left corner. Once you see that message, your video is saved. You may now close the Panopto Capture browser tab and return to the Panopto Student Submission Tool window in Blackboard.\u00a0 Click\u00a0Insert\u00a0<\/strong>to add the video to your assignment.

  9. The video name will default as the display name.\u00a0 You can edit the display name or click\u00a0Insert<\/strong> to embed the video in the submission text box.

  10. The selected video is embedded in the submission text box.\u00a0 Add any additional text as needed and click S<\/strong>ubmit<\/strong> at the bottom-right corner when finished.

  11. A successful submission will generate a receipt.\u00a0 This confirmation receipt will be emailed to the student’s ACC Gmail address.\u00a0 The user can also download the information to their local device.\"Image<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
