How to Post an Announcement using Qwickly Course Tools<\/b><\/h2>\n

Notify all your students in various courses of important information including assignments, class cancellations, or schedule updates.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. From your Blackboard Ultra Navigation page, click Tools<\/strong> from the menu pane and select Qwickly Course Tools.<\/strong>\"Blackboard<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. In Course Tools, scroll down and select <\/span>Post an Announcement<\/b>.\"Post<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. (A) <\/strong>Checkmark the courses from the course list on the left to post the announcement,<\/span>\u00a0or<\/strong> click <\/span>Select All (B)<\/strong> if you would like to send it to all courses.
      <\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>      \"Select<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. Enter the Title (A) <\/b>of the Announcement and the description<\/span> (B).<\/b>\"Add<\/a><\/li>\n
    4. Announcements are set to Post Immediately<\/b> and to have <\/span>No Expiration<\/b>. To set a <\/span>Start<\/strong> and<\/span> End date<\/strong>, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the boxes, and enter the time and date you would like to appear.<\/span>\"Change<\/a><\/li>\n
    5. Check the box next to Email Announcement<\/b> if you want a copy of the Announcement sent to student email accounts.<\/span>\"Send<\/a><\/li>\n
    6. Click Submit<\/b> when you are ready to post your Announcement.<\/span>\"Submit<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
