Going to every class meeting, taking notes, practicing active listening and participating in class are vital to your success. Additionally, making sure that you arrive prepared for each class<\/strong> via completion of assigned readings and assignments is critical.<\/p>\n You are expected to attend classes in order to satisfactorily complete course objectives. For distance learning courses, you are expected to comply with the course syllabus requirements.<\/p>\n It is your responsibility to consult with instructors<\/strong> and meet with your advisor when course policies and objectives, such as the attendance policy, cannot be met. When you register for an ACC college class, you<\/strong> are responsible for dropping or withdrawing from it by the published deadline or you will receive a final letter grade. Tip:<\/strong> In order to receive an “A” in a college course, plan to devote 3 hours outside of class for every hour in class<\/strong> for homework and required readings.
