to ACC
Previous Coursework – Austin Community College (ACC) evaluates undergraduate courses for possible transfer credit. You must have earned a C or above to earn credit. Approved transfer credits will appear on your ACC transcript.
See what transfers by linking to this page for the Transfer Evaluation System (TES) a web-based resource of all of our established course equivalencies from institutions for which ACC has previously awarded transfer course credit. TES is continuously updated to include recent course additions as they are evaluated at ACC.

International Coursework – If you have a college transcript from a country outside the United States, bring your original transcript in native language and original translations to the:

If you have not had your foreign transcripts translated, visit American Translators Association (ATA) for translators in the Austin area.
ACCTech Program
You can receive college credit for high school classes that are part of the ACCTech Program, a partnership between area school districts and ACC. To receive credit, you must enroll in ACC, complete at least one college course, and request your ACCTech credit within 24 months of high school graduation. Visit ACCTech for more information.

to other Colleges/Universities
Transferring from Austin Community College (ACC) to a four-year college or university is a popular path to a bachelor’s degree. You can build a solid academic foundation and save on the cost of college before you transfer by earning college credits at ACC. For more information, visit our Transfer Services site.
ACC credits can transfer widely to Texas public colleges, as well as private and out-of-state universities.
Students can research colleges and universities, view transfer planning guides, course equivalencies, and articulation agreements via the ACC Transfer Services website! Students can also check with an Area of Study Advisor.
If you cannot find a school on the ACC Transfer Services site, try using the Texas Common Course Numbering System (TCCNS) website to view equivalencies between TCCNS and other institutions and community colleges.
IMPORTANT: Transfer course evaluations and determination of which courses will apply toward a bachelor’s degree plan are made by the receiving transfer institution. We strongly recommend verifying that ACC college credits will transfer to your future college/university destination!
