Student Rights & Responsibilities
As an ACC student, you have the rights accorded by the U.S. Constitution to freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, petition, and association. These rights carry with them the responsibility to accord the same rights to others in the college community and not to interfere with or disrupt the educational process.
Enrollment in the college indicates acceptance of the rules set forth in this policy, which is administered through the office of the campus Dean of Student Affairs. Due process, through an investigation and appeal process, is assured to any student involved in disciplinary action.
Students Rights & Responsibilities:
- Formal ‘Review of Final Course Grade’
- Grade Disputes
- Resolving disputes about a grading policy and/or a specific assignment grade
- Resolving disputes about final course grades
- Student Complaint Procedures
- Student Standards of Conduct
If you have questions, please contact an ACC campus Dean of Student Affairs.
Remember: As a willing partner in learning, you must comply with all college rules and procedures.
