\u201cSpace, the final frontier\u2026\u201d Just hearing that phrase makes me salivate like a Pavlovian dog.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me explain.\u00a0 Some of the best moments of my life involve a very large, yellow Dickey’s BBQ cup, full of ice-cold milk, a package of Double Stuf OREOs, and an old-school episode of <\/span>Star Trek<\/span><\/i> playing on TV.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Proper double-stuffed consumption involves several meticulous steps executed with precision.\u00a0 First, place the initial \u201csinker\u201d OREO straight up and down, halfway submerged in the milk.\u00a0 Let the sinker absorb the milk, then carefully let it go \u2013 kerplunk! Success! Immediately sinking, boldly going where no OREO has gone before.\u00a0 Secondly, place the \u201cfloater\u201d OREO horizontally over the milk.\u00a0 \"\"Let it go and watch it float freely.\u00a0 Now your Dickey\u2019s cup is properly primed for proper double stuff dipping, slurping, and consuming.<\/span><\/p>\n

By the time Scotty says \u201cI\u2019m giving her all she\u2019s got, Captain!\u201d, you are left with the last few slurps of deliciousness, followed by an amazing avalanche of chocolate sludge.\u00a0 Tapping the bottom of the cup ever so gently ensures the avalanche of goodness winds up in every crevice of your mouth, signs of a successful mission.<\/span><\/p>\n
