Collaborative efforts resulted in the creation of outreach materials and videos targeting English and Speech faculty. A presentation at an ACC Resource Fair was planned with the Army Future Command\/Software Factory. Engagement with librarians and the Health Sciences Division Department Chairs provided insights into microcredentials. Discussed building a mini-Microcredential of 10 to 12 hours that just includes basic computing skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Met with <\/span><b>Ascender<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on July 18th via <\/span><b>Susan Meigs, Alejandra Polcik, Ann Pamela Fant-Saez, C. Jason Vidrine, Diana Gorostieta Martinez, Karina Hernandez, and Linda Smarzik.\u00a0<\/b><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Met with <\/span><b>Mario Aguilar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on July 18th, to pilot a Microcredential in a ParaLegal course.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Disseminated the Summer Newsletter, \u201c<\/span><b>The Spark,\u201d\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to 500 recipients of faculty, students, and staff on July 18th.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Designed and hung two large posters (8\u2019 x 6\u2019) at the South Austin campus in the display windows for on-going promotion. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1YNrOLRgH_x3cmW5wyPYlHOMLxnq9xIUp\/view?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Build your Digital Fluency Skills<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1TJRUkh9FNUZx367iSIXc78NJRjaHHKoM\/view?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What To Do with Digital Fluency Skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On July 25th, met with <\/span><b>Charesse L. Evans, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Senior Advisor for the US Patent and Trademark Office<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><b>Valencia Martin-Wallace,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> also from the US Patent and Trademark Office; <\/span><b>Luis Rincon, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Co-Founder &amp; Chief Strategy Officer of Acadeum, and <\/span><b>Chris Davis, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">representing DigiTex to explore the possibilities of providing microcredentials for a new IP education course sharing consortium<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provided a Digital Navigator Training to the following adjunct faculty from Adult Ed on August 2nd, <\/span><b>Mieca Johnson, David Garcia, Jennifer Mansourm Kendra Perales, Nicholas Starkweather, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>Nicholas Bryant.\u00a0<\/b><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Info session to be held on August 3rd for 35 signups on Eventbrite consisting of students, faculty, and staff.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Microcredentials<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First training of two for <\/span><b>LuAnn Preston<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to become a Digital Navigator for Fall, 2023 in which she will offer the Word Processing Microcredential within her English course for High School students.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Provided a drill down presentation for Microcredentials and on being a Digital Navigator for: <\/span><b>Mariposa McGriffy, David Garcia, Jennifer Mansour, Kendra Perales, Mieca Johnson, Nicholas Bryant, and Vaaron Juarez\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from Adult Ed.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Continued refinement of five microcredentials to support requests from Digital Navigators.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Started building Web Analytics Microcredential in Brightspace Leap to be offered in the Fall\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Started building a curriculum for the Photoshop Microcredential.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Revised and enhanced assignments on Spreadsheets and Presentation software to ensure clear and concise instructions for students.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aligned capstone project rubrics for Spreadsheet microcredentials with the revised project tasks to ensure accurate assessment and evaluation.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Conducted thorough grading and delivered comprehensive feedback to students enrolled in Spreadsheets (session 001 and 002) and Presentation software microcredentials, supporting their learning and growth.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brightspace Leap workshop, for DFI Core staff to examine organization setup and understand how to configure Brightspace Learning Repository to meet identified organization needs.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Continued build of the Photoshop Microcredential. Web Analytics and HTML\/CSS are being input into Brightspace Leap.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ongoing improvement of the current summer pilots for Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Introduction to Computers, Presentation Software, and Data Management.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ACC Grow Student has completed the assets for an interactive, learning video for Introduction to Computing.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Six Summer microcredentials will complete on August 7th.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Data\u00a0<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Summer <\/span><b>registration of<\/b> <b>156 opt-in and co-curricular learners<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> into eight sections.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Continued refinement of <\/span><b>three surveys <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in collaboration with OIRA targeted to students, department chairs, and faculty. Refinement of <\/span><b>two surveys <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(pre-assessment and post-assessment)\u00a0 to be embedded into each microcredential that will ascertain skill level for both professional and technical competencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Continuing the build of an Excel spreadsheet for data capture of milestones, core indicators, student learning outcomes, and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ongoing gathering and build of spreadsheet to include Milestones, Performance Indicators, and Student Learning Outcomes. <\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Total Fall registration to date including <\/span><b>Opt-In and Co-curricular enrollments is 257 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(33% filled) with a potential of 772.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Fall registration has 109 opt-in learners<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> into 18 sections. The enrollment to date for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fall Session One is 87 or 39% filled.
