This included panel participation, meetings with stakeholders, and collaborations to create tailored educational pathways, such as a Level One Certificate for high school students. Concurrently, significant progress was made in developing and implementing microcredentials, with a focus on emerging fields like problem-solving with AI and data analytics. These efforts aimed to diversify educational offerings and meet evolving demands in the workforce. Robust data collection facilitated informed decision-making, ensuring programs were effective and aligned with student needs and learning outcomes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e0754bc e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2e0754bc\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8187ff7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8187ff7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Highlights<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1fbc1a5c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1fbc1a5c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Outreach<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February 9, 2024 &#8211; Tabled and was on a panel for <\/span><b>the Affinity Programs,<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/ascender\"><b> Ascender<\/b><\/a><b>,<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/brass\"><b> Brass<\/b><\/a><b>,<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/career-scholars\/high-school-career-applicants\"><b> High School Career Scholars<\/b><\/a><b>, and<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/career-scholars\/adult-career-scholars\"><b> Adult Career Scholars<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 14 &#8211; Met with Venancio Ybarra and Mary Kohls to discuss creating a Level One Certificate for high school students consisting of the 13 credit hour, Digital Fluency OSA consisting of 16 microcredentials and a course (not microcredentials) COSC Programming Fundamentals COSC 1336.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February 15 &#8211; Met with Mary Clark\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February 15 &#8211; Met with Vanessa Errico to continue the process to enroll Military Spouses.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February 23 &#8211; Met with Linda Terry to create a process to award credit to microcertificates utilizing a Box Platform for awardees. Articulation of the Digital Fluency microcredentials had been previously established with Computer Science and Information Technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">February 29 &#8211; Met with Vanessa Erricon and Continuing Education to further establish the enrollment process for Military Spouses.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Microcredentials\u00a0<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ongoing development of two microcredentials: Problem Solving with AI and Data Analytics.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Added Problem Solving with AI and Data Analytics to the second spring session as pilots. Both filled quickly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Opened an additional Spreadsheets Microcredential.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Data<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spring session enrollment is 762 with 292 for Co-curricular and 470 for Opt-In. Total to date for enrollment <\/span><b>since Summer 2022 is 1599 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">which has met the milestone of year two of 1,410.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seventeen Digital Navigators have been trained and onboarded, teaching eleven microcredentials with multiple instances.
